Workout plan when life gets hectic

It seems that every day I make a commitment to work out…..tomorrow. I really need to tone my core, tighten my gluts, get rid of those cankles; you name it, I need to do it. Yet somehow this never comes to fruition.

So what is a girl to do? I am still working on that but I can tell you what not to do.

Step 1: DO NOT log into Pinterest.  With ideas aplenty, charts, tips, tricks, etc., etc. You can easily spend hours sitting on your butt pinning and scrolling without moving a single muscle.

Step 2: Do not go to the extreme.  I am no stranger to working out for an hour or two on the first day and then being so sore the second day that you can’t even walk . Result: your back on the sofa flipping through Pinterest.

Step 3: Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. I have a ton of them. The key is not to buy into your own B.S.  Where there is a will, there is a way; it all comes down to how bad you want it.

Step 4: Never talk down about yourself. You need to be your biggest cheerleader.

All that being said, I finally have found the perfect work out regiment.

Step 1: Get up and move. It doesn’t matter what you do or when you do it as long as you are up and moving. Who knows, this baby step may lead to bigger and better things.

So now I am off to jump on the trampoline with my little man; making silly faces and burning off some extra pounds.

Share your "best" excuses for not working out, what you like to do as exercise, tips, tricks, or just a comment. We love hearing from you.

P.S. - all these images were taken from ... you guessed it...Pinterest.

Tis the season for Christmas Pictures

Tis' the season for dressing up and taking photos however I have never been a fan of the forced poses, fake backgrounds, and stiff smiles that always seem to show up when we try to take pictures at a 'professional photography studio'.

For us, there is just something special when you capture the little moments that easily unfold in the comfort of your own home.

So after spreading out some Christmas lights and tinsel, and topping it off with a Santa Hat, the room filled with giggles and smiles as we told silly knock-knock jokes. made more fart sounds than I hate to admit and just allowed Little man's imagination take over as he played with the lights and tinsel.

We finished off our session with a batch of freshly baked cookies...and some funny new memories. Let us know what you think. Do you prefer a professional studio or taking pics in your home. We would love to hear from you.

A New Journey

Hi All!! Let us introduce ourselves. From left to right, we are Danu and Ronnie.

We are sisters who live in two different countries with two very different lives, with the same carpe diem attitude.

We decided to team up and vlog our adventures... and pretty much anything that catches our attention (from makeup, to fitness, to dancing in the toys isle). If it is a part of our life, we'll vlog it.

So grab a cup of coffee and stay tuned as we share our life in action!

xoxo,
Danu and Ronnie
